WKR Machining
WKR Machining is a small shop specializing in the use of 3D models to manufacture customized machine components. In operation since 2018, they employ 4-5 local individuals to service a multitude of industries including those focused on the Atlantic marine environment, medical technology, industrial, and the oil and gas sector.
The main objective of WKR Machining is to be a “one stop shop” for their clients. They work in close partnership with other Eastern Shore tradespeople and businesses to deliver a start-to-finish product. It is important to WKR that any vendors helping complete secondary processes for them are sourced as close to the community as possible. WKR’s focus on customer service and convenience has allowed them to grow and be successful.
The owner of WKR Machining, Wes Roma, is a lifelong resident of the Eastern Shore. He originally went to NSCC and NSIT for CNC Machining, which he worked at for almost two decades before starting his own business. WKR got its start in his father’s garage, before moving to their current home in the East Chezzetcook Industrial Park.
